(Online Dating Industry Journal) Cheerleaders from the Atlanta Falcons, Baltimore ravens, Buffalo Bills, Oakland Raiders, Tennessee Titans, and Washington Redskins are teaming up to recruit members to AnimalAttraction.com this month. The NFL cheerleaders along with AnimalAttraction.com, an online dating and community website for pet lovers, will be co-hosting private “Tailgate Parties” for randomly selected winners who create a free profile on the online dating site during November.
The Tailgate parties will take place between Nov. 30 – Dec. 11 with cheerleaders from the six teams. AnimalAttraction.com will donate a dollar to animal shelters in each teams’ local market for each of the first 1,000 registrations.
“This is a great opportunity to introduce millions of pet lovers to the AnimalAttraction.com community while also raising money for homeless animals.” says Dan Cohen, Founder and President of AnimalAttraction.com. Cohen, a thirty-something single, is the proud owner of Buddy, a Shepherd/Rottweiler mix. His passion for pets spurred AnimalAttraction’s creation. “Pet-lovers share a lot of great traits, and this promotion is a fun way to bring them together for friendship, dating or whatever type of connection they’re seeking.”
In addition to winning tickets to tailgate parties, registrants can win prizes specifically directed toward pet owners from VPI Pet Insurance, Bissel, Frontline Plus, PetFoodDirect.com and Dogsters Healthy Treats.
Officially launched in May 2004, AnimalAttraction.com claims to have thousands of members nationwide and displays online pet care tips provided by The Humane Society of The United States. You can learn more about the promotion here.
Great Idea. Pets bring a side out of everyone that isn't often seen. People seem to be much more positive and loving around their pets.
