(Online Dating Industry Journal) A recent column in Courier Post Online proves that not everyone feels good about getting dating advice from Dr. Phil on Match.com. From the article:
"He wants America to be mentally and emotionally prepared for love. But the truth is, you can be an emotional mess and STILL find love. Likewise, you can be perfectly healthy in the head and have a lot of trouble dating.
Dr. Phil ignores the one thing that causes most success and failure in dating and love: Luck. Did I meet my girlfriend through a friend of a friend because I took a "personal inventory" and showed off my "authentic self"? No. We met by chance, because I was lucky."

What I find interesting about this opinion article is that it also discusses the growing trend about how more and more dating sites are trying to get involved with actual relationship advice and counseling. From Dr. Phil's MindFindBind to eHarmony's new focus on married couples, dating sites are trying to not only spark relationship, but help mold and maintain them...at least that is what they claim.
