(Online Dating Industry Journal) An article on KSL TV in Salt Lake City, Utah regarding the popularity of online dating, featured LDSPromise.com, a site that is taking a similar approach to eHarmony to capture the LDS Singles (Mormon) market. From the article:
"LDSPromise.com readily admits they were inspired by the national online dating service: eHarmony.com. The premise behind both is to try and make matches based on the results of a compatibility test."
To become a member of LDSPromise you first have to fill out the SureMatch Compatibility Profile that asks over 500 questions relating to 21 dimensions of relationship compatibility. And, apparently, it is working for some relationship-focused LDS Singles. The article featured the success story of a couple that met through LDSPromise and quickly married thereafter.
