(Online Dating Industry Journal) The Vancouver Sun just featured an article about the Canadian perspective on Global Market Insight Inc.'s recent survey of 17,502 persons carried out in 18 countries regarding online dating. According to the article:
"Canadian respondents claim greater online-dating success (46 per cent) than U.S. respondents (42 per cent), although pollsters were unable to determine specifically what qualified as success...And some 26 per cent of Canadians surveyed -- just in time for Valentine's Day -- admitted to cheating on their spouses as the result of using online dating services.
However, these incidents of cheating are more likely to comprise cybersex, where there's no physical contact, than actual meetings in person offline."
