(Online Dating Industry Journal) Spark Networks, which owns several online dating services, has announced that its ChristianMingle service is now called Relationships.com and located at the same URL as the new name.
According to Online Dating Magazine:
"Relationships.com describes itself as 'an online community created specifically for Christian singles looking to meet other Christians, to make new friends or to find a life-long partner that shares similar values, traditions and beliefs.'"

Joe's Comments:
Relationships.com used to be a dating service that was powered by American Singles (also owned by Spark Networks). This move is extremely puzzling to me. Not only is Sparks Network rebranding ChristianMingle, but they also missed out on a huge opportunity to open up a relationship service (the URL is perfect for it) to compete with eHarmony and Chemistry.com. Bad move, in my humble opinion.
