(Online Dating Industry Journal) Matchdoctor.com, a subsidiary of Online Singles, LLC, has sent out a release comparing their site to a MySpace-type service that is specifically focused on dating.
According to the release, Matchdoctor.com is a free online dating site with built-in social networking features. Users can post an in-depth dating profile, upload photos, add tags, post a blog, create a network of friends, and participate in forum topics created by other users.
"Our goal at Matchdoctor.com is to take the niche of social networking and its features and make it dating-centric, opening up new ways to connect people who are looking to date and find new relationships," said Luke Kalish, President of Online Singles, LLC.
Online Singles, LLC was founded by Jason Tarlowe and Luke Kalish in 2000. Florida-based Matchdoctor.com began with just a few hundred members, but, according to the release, has grown exponentially since then, recently surpassing the one million member mark.
Kim's Comments:
I agree that allowing features like blogging to a dating service can greatly increase interactivity between members, keep members coming back to a site, and also be a great way for singles to better get to know others before contacting them for potential dates. Also, have a "friends" feature can open up a whole new world of people you wouldn't have normally found through searches. MatchDoctor.com is on the right track with interactivity within a dating-focused service.
The link of Matchdoctor.com opens a window to anothe site indianfriendfinder.com . Can anybody suggest how to get rid of this site hijacker.

It sounds like you have a spyware program on your computer as I tested the link on two different computers and didn't have a problem. You may want to download Microsoft Windows Defender (it's free)
Go to www.microsoft.com. In the left hand menu click Security, then in the main window, under Security Tools and Tips, click "Use Windows Defender to Remove Unwanted Software".
You may also want to use another program like SpyWare Doctor (really good, but not free). Both of those should help you get rid of the spyware on your computer and help protect your computer.

Dear Staff of Matchdoctor,
My ticket number is [05D-0B952C47-A977].
Please, accept my sincere compliments for your excellent job with creating the site of matchdoctor to help many people in the world. It is a great and unique site and I am very satisfied for being member of it.
Today I received a remainder from you where you wrote that I have two months without activating my account in matchdoctor. I have been trying many many times to open this sites but I couldn’t. Recently I am having serious problems with this site, because I cannot logon anymore and cannot contact or answer to my e-mails. I have tried to open this site in many computers of different internet coffees but I could not open it.
I write the site address: www.matchdoctor.com and I see that the page is all white and on the left side, at the bottom of the computer I can only read “Done” and nothing else. I don’t know what has happened. I cannot see the normal page of matchdoctor, the place where I can write my username and the password. I receive almost every day messages on my e-mail address, which let me know about the interests of members of matchoctor, but I cannot read them.
I go to “cache” and I can read there the following:
This is G o o g l e's cache of http://matchdoctor.com/ as retrieved on 12 Feb 2006 09:52:13 GMT.
G o o g l e's cache is the snapshot that we took of the page as we crawled the web.
The page may have changed since that time. Click here for the current page without highlighting.
This cached page may reference images which are no longer available. Click here for the cached text only.
To link to or bookmark this page, use the following url: http://www.google.com/search?q=cache:byRngH06lfAJ:matchdoctor.com/+&hl=en&ct=clnk&cd=1
Please, could you possibly help me to resolve this problem? Could you recommend any solution?
I really need to continue to be member of your site. I would be eternally grateful if you help me. Please, again help me to reactivate this site. I have been very satisfied from visiting matchdoctor.
I look forward to hearing from you very soon.
Thank you very much in advance!
Best reagards
