(Online Dating Industry Journal) A new study commissioned by Match.com found that couples who claim to be experiencing true love were those in long-term relationships. According to an article in The Daily Record:
Of the 147 couples who took part in the study, 61 per cent described their feelings as this perfect kind of love.
And of these, almost all had been in their relationship for a year or more.
Another interesting result of the study is that men (67%) were more likely to experience true love than women (57%). For complete results, read the full article.
Match.com has nearly 20,000,000 of profiles.
Did Dr. Gavin research for only "147 couples who took part in the study"?
I am anxiously waiting to see/read/analyze that study.
The Online Dating Industry urgently needs more power calculation and more precise/reliable matching techniques, like "here you have a list of 48 persons most compatible in a 10 million database prospects".
