(Online Dating Industry Journal) An article in Brandweek.com discusses the positive branding efforts of Perfect Match when it comes to romantic comedies, most recently the upcoming film Failure to Launch. From the article:
The key player in the promotion, though, is Perfect Match, the online dating service (last seen promoting Warner Bros.' Must Love Dogs). Perfect Match's support includes a "Launch Your Love Life" sweeps dangling a "romantic trip" for two to Hollywood. The effort will be supported by TV, online and print ads.
"Perfect Match is an excellent partner on a movie like this," said LeeAnn Stables, svp-worldwide marketing partnerships at Paramount. "The media assets they brought to the table are considerable."

Perfect Match is on the right track when it comes to getting their name out through non-traditional sources and cross promotions. Failure to Launch will be in theaters March 10, and Perfect Match is heavily promoting the film on their site.
