Small Proof that Online Dating Is Not The Only Matchmaking Technology

(Online Dating Industry Journal) Commentary from Carrie Kirby of the San Francisco Chronicle indicates that online industries other than online dating can produce long-term matches between singles.  Kirby makes note of two recent weddings she has been invited to and says, "I've been to a wedding for a couple who met via Match.com (the groom was another Chron staffer), but these are different because neither couple met on a matchmaking Web site. One met on MySpace, and the other while playing the online game Dark Age of Camelot."
