If you have 1 bad apple in every 100, how many bad ones in 1,000,000?

Nobody talks of dates gone bad which were introduced in traditional ways. As with online dating stigma, they have someone or the other (introductory medium) to blame, if not themselves.

When online dating gives access to millions of potentials, the risks grow in similar proportions. That dosen't mean online dating is bad. It is more on how cautious one is. Not the medium.

IMO, if one compares the negative with the positive sides of online and traditional partner hunt, there is no such introductory medium as online.
